“It's all yours,” I said, motioning to the bathroom.

Jordan didn't let go of my arms. Instead he pushed me backwards so I had to stumble into the bathroom. He flicked the light on and closed the door behind us. I backed up into the wall and stared at him. I was acutely aware of the fact that we were in a tiny space. Alone. Together.

I knew Jordan was drunk but the intensity in his eyes made my stomach flip over. “What can I do for you, Jordan?” I asked lightly, trying to alleviate some of the crazy tension crackling in the air between us.

Jordan ran his hands over his head and clasped them together behind his neck. His eyes bored into mine. “I can't keep doing this, Maysie.” I coughed to cover my discomfort.

“Can't keep doing what?” I nervously started twirling a strand of hair around my finger.

Lexi Reynolds is a 39 year old, newly divorced, single mum. After finding out her husband and father to her three gorgeous girls had been cheating on her she gave up. She no longer cared how she looked and dating was more than out of the question, all she wanted to be was the best mum she could be to her children. Spring break approaches and Lexi is off to her sister Layla's..

Layla being the great sister that she is, takes one look at Lexi and decides she just won't do. She takes it upon herself I give Lexi a new lease of life. Starting with giving her a 'certain book' that every body will recognize, she instructs her to read all three, see what she thinks and report back. As is the case with everybody, Lexi is excited.. she agrees to Layla's crazy plans of a make over. Starting with her weight and diet, right through to her hair and clothing. Last of all, Layla has one more request for her sister..

"First I need you to have a one night. Second, I want you to have sex in an elevator, coat room or bathroom. Lastly, I want you to fuck a public servant.

The Way Back To Me gifts us with not one, but two gorgeous candidates for Lexis quest. First up we meet Patrick Dane - a retired Dallas Mavericks player. He's hot, he's considerate of her needs and he instantly helps her scratch off her list one by one. He's perfect right? Of course not.. He's hiding his own little secret.

"His smug ass smile just makes me want to suck it off his face. I misspoke there. I meant to say smack it off his face."

Next one who thinks he is up for the challenge is the sexy plastic surgeon Dr Sebastian Cameron. Holy freaking hell he was hot. He is also recently divorced and not looking for anything serious, instead he is setting his sights on a new submissive. In her new lease of life, how can Lexi possibly refuse? Their first meeting is one of my favourite scenes, a misunderstanding causes Lexi to be at Sebastian's surgery as a patient, not quite the business meeting she had in mind..

"I probably should have gone with the gown just so I can have an excuse to feel his hands on my breasts."

The book had a great ending that really tied everything up perfectly. Lexi's a new woman, she's got a new man and she's finally ready to live her life for her and her children. She may have a man now but she won't make the mistake of losing herself to keep him.

"I'm different. I feel like I'm finally who I'm supposed to be."

I really enjoyed myself while reading this book. I wasn't sure what to expect and it was such a pleasant surprise! I was in tears, Laughing so often throughout, I can't even see the word 'scooxh moment' without cracking up now!

I say if you want something a little light, a lot funny and very sexy in-between the heavy stuff this is perfect for you.
