He is primarily focused on developing, implementing and monitoring Apollo’s strategic asset allocation across multi-credit portfolios, as well as optimizing funding / liquidity for all balance sheets. Previously, Jasjit managed the North America proprietary structured credit trading book at Lehman Brothers’ Principal Strategies division. Prior to Lehman, Jasjit was at Deutsche Bank where he held positions with increasing levels of responsibilities within Corporate and Investment Banking in several of Deutsche Bank’s global offices. He serves on the Investment Committees of the Apollo North American Real Estate and the European Principal Finance funds. Prior to joining the Firm in 2010, Roger was responsible for Citigroup’s global real estate investment activities and worked for Goldman Sachs before that. Following his retirement from Goldman Sachs, Roger pursued an entrepreneurial career, highlighted by the founding of E-Shelter GmbH, a German-based data center business which he and his partners sold for €1.1 billion to NTT.
Jesus graduated from ESADE with a Licenciado degree in Finance and Economics, from UNED with a Licenciado degree in Law and received his M. In Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology / Sloan School. Daniel graduated magna cum laude from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and concentrations in Finance and Management. Lauren received her BA magna cum laude in Psychology and French from Amherst College and her MBA from the Yale School of Management. She was named a New York Business Journal “Woman of Influence” and a City & State “Responsible 100, and is a graduate of Echoing Green’s Direct Impact experiential leadership program.
She was also Co-Chair of AllianceBernstein’s Women’s Initiative and Chair of the Global Technology & Operations Employee Recognition Program. Before that, Renee held various roles at Goldman Sachs within the Asset Management and Private Wealth Management Technology organizations and was a management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG. Prior to joining Apollo in 2015, Maurice was Managing Director – Portfolio Manager for the Real Estate, Life Sciences and Asset Based groups at MidCap for over six years. He served in a similar capacity at Merrill Lynch Capital Healthcare Finance, where he initiated the Life Sciences portfolio management group. Previously, Maurice worked in accounting and financial management including serving as CFO for a construction company and a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch. Prior to joining, he was a Partner at StormHarbour, responsible for Financial Institutions Coverage and M&A Advisory. Previously, Adriaan was Managing Director at UBS Investment Bank, holding a number of senior positions in the Financial Institutions Investment Banking team and Global Capital Markets. In addition, he was a founder of the Financial Institutions Solutions team. Adriaan started his career at Citibank in Europe and the US as a member of the Global Capital Structuring team. Brooke Sorensen is a Partner in the Client and Product Solutions group at Apollo, where she oversees the Private Markets platform.
Jonathan graduated from Bentley University with a BS in Accounting Information Systems and received an MS in Accounting from the McCallum Graduate School of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant in New York and Connecticut, a Chartered Global Management Accountant, and is a member of the AICPA and New York State Society of CPA’s. Joshua graduated cum laude from Princeton University with a BA in Religion. Robert Bittencourt is Partner and Co-Head of Opportunistic Credit at Apollo. Prior to joining in 2006, Robert was with GSC Group, where he focused on distressed for control assets.
Prior to joining Apollo in 2005, Gareth was with Goldman Sachs in London as a Managing Director in their Industrial and Natural Resources investment banking group and served as Global Head of Metals and Mining and Co-Head of Global Chemicals. Gareth has a broad range of experience in capital markets and M&A transactions and was active in the Private Equity group of Goldman Sachs, having been a key advisor to this division. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Gareth was with Lehman Brothers and before that, worked for Salomon Brothers and RBC Dominion Securities.
Prior to joining in 2011, David was a credit analyst on the Credit Sales and Trading team at Macquarie Capital, where he focused on Healthcare, Cable/Satellite, and Infrastructure. Previously, he was an investment banking analyst in the Syndicated and Leveraged Finance group at JP Morgan. Véronique Fournier is Managing Director and Head of EMEA, Global Wealth in the Client and Product Solutions Group at Apollo.
